Reasonable Day....

The Temperature here this week has been mixed to say the least, cold to start the week off and now ending up near +20 deg's Madness.
Set off for work at 5am today 12+ deg's on the dash of the Batmobele.
After leaving Goole at 7am ish the weather a OK until getting to Stainmore area, 6-8 deg's Dense Fog Windy as S***T and 2 Trucks blown over and being recovered as I passed them, I got to Whitehaven and had to wait a while before the bloke would let me in, once tipped back to Goole and Home.....

While on Hol in Spain 2012

While on holiday last week in Spain Jill & I had the day out over in the Navel City of Cartagena, then on the way back to my parents place we decided to find the race track.
Thought i'd try out the camera in Video mode and this is what it produced.

Busy Busy Busy

Since my last post on the old blog in December 2011, been a bit busy at work flying around here and there and everywhere, managed also to get a weeks holiday in Spain in Feb 2012 to see my parents, now back to work & honestly looking at what the next 12 months have really got to offer (work that is).
For those of you who know & talk to me via Skype or facebook etc will know what I mean, so got some Soul searching to do over the next few months and ask loads of questions which will help my decision making.
So we will see what is going to happen within the next xxx amount of months...

'Runaround'.

Today has felt a little like the kid's show from Yrs ago 'Runaround'.
After starting at 6am then having a problem with the Tail lift on the trailer which took nearly 50 min's to sort then I was on my way to Tesco at Lincoln delivery 1 then back to Goole, my next job was to Gorton Manchester (A57) Tesco delivery 2 completed then shot off over to Quinn Glass a Bonded warehouse complex at Elton off the M56 Junc 14 for my collection of 26 Pallet's of Australian Wine for Tesco RDC Barlborough, the wind over the M62 & M56 was really bad.
Made it in to Barlborough for 7pm then had to take another break otherwise I was not going to get back to Goole ( I'm a day Driver now !!!!).
I had to come from Elton to Barlborough via the M62/M1 seen as my route over the A628Woodhead pass was closed because of the wind.
Back in to Goole with just enough time to drop the trailer at Goods In the Shimmy round rather quickly to Goods Out to park the Unit up & clock off at 9pm......
On my exit I told the planners etc to schedule me in for an 8am start 2moro..
